Q. Do you ever sell PC/Wintel Equipment?
A. Yes, sometimes, but we specialize in Macintosh.
Q. Is Computer Recyclers a charitable organization?
A. No, we are a for profit company. We do frequently
make donations of computers and other equipment to non-profits such as
schools and charities.
Q. Do you accept old monitors?
A. Yes, but we unfortunately must charge a fee to do so.
See our recycling
page for more details.
Q. Do you buy old computers?
A. Yes, sometimes. Whether we are interested in buying
your old computer will depend upon many factors
including how old it is, its condition, what our current inventories
are like, and what kind of demand
we're expecting for that particular model in the future. See our
recycling page for more details.
Q. Is it true that you never put anything in a land
fill?
A. No, unfortunately some items still can't be
economically recycled. We have recently identified a possible outlet
for ABS-FR plastic which had been our biggest challenge. We do still
have certain other items which are problematic, but we're getting
closer every day. |
